I Said "I Love You"
I said, ‘I love you'
for I wanted you to know,
that it was You I loved:
—and no one else!
I said, ‘I love you'
for I had to leave you…
for I had to renounce you…
for I loved you…
I said, ‘I love you'
for I wanted you to remember my voice,
each time you talk on the phone:
to remember my voice—in every voice.
I said, ‘I love you'
for I had to carry on living without you…
and —You—were as heavy as my heart!
as heavy as ‘I love you'
So…I said, ‘I love you'
I love you, still…

I missed the bus, airplane and what not. He is very lucky guy to whom you said those three magical words " I Love You" . Wonderful poem on LOVE. With such a lucidity you let your emotions and feelings flow, Beyond ratings. Loved it and God Bless you and your entire family.
