I Tossed Up… Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

I Tossed Up…

I tossed up a handful of diamond bits
They stayed in the air for a while…
An’ came down to settle on the dust
I found them lying on her side

I tossed up a handful of poem bits
They stayed in the air for a while…
An’ came down to settle on her heart
I found them glistening in her eyes…

I like this simple little poem, almost like a rddle. The thought behind it is one that I have sympathy with - better to have a poet than a diamond broker by your side (unless the diamond broker is also a poet, of course!)

Love how the inner action find it's voice through your verbs..(smile)
