I Was Not A Poet Poem by Neela Nath Das

I Was Not A Poet

Rating: 5.0

I was not a poet
and couldn't open
the wings of imagination.

The burdened
sorrow made me put
my frozen flakes
down on the page
of a dynamic river
which flows by the
emotion of blooming buds.

As a vagrant, I reached
here with heavy heart.
In the labyrinth of
thousand poems
I was seeking a way
to burst my caged
emotion- - - strife,
sobs, sighs, and
unrequited love......

I freed them
here and everyday
they roam and fly
in every corner
of my dear site,
Poemhunter.
