Shakil Ahmed.
You have given me
The starry nights
To wander through the passage of galaxies,
To play in the dim light of moon
To share my sorrow with night faring birds
When the whole world is benumbed
And taking solicited repose.
You have given me
A thorn less blooming flower
Wet with morning dew
And full of sweet fragrance.
You have given me
The expanse of vast blue sky
To fly like illusory clouds
From east to west
Forgetting the aches of transitory life.
You have given me the whole planet
Along with its rivers, forests
And trees with green and yellow leaves
To adorn my poems
With bucolic beauties of unending nature.
I shall give you
The fresh morning light
Along with its perpetual delight
I will give you
Ocean of love, along with its heavenly light
And consuming your sorrows and pains
I will be blind.

A true love is alway alive. It has the characteristic of sacrifice. It is above caste, creed and colour. Dear Shakil, you have nicely portrayed this in your poem. Let it be quoted... I shall give you The fresh morning light Along with its perpetual delight I will give you Ocean of love, along with its heavenly light... Beautiful poem shared. Thanks.
