If I die tonight will you cry?
Would you mourn my death,
Celebrate my life or vise versa?
How would I be remembered
Would it be for the good that I did?
My caring ways and loving heart
Would the world politely forget
My questionable past, my sinful ways?
Or would they remember the darkness
The hurt and pain that I caused.
I wonder if this was it,
My last day on God's green earth
Would my finale destination be heaven
Or would I wake up in a fiery pit in hell?
Would I have time to pray to God
Ask him for forgiveness and repent.
Or would I replay my wrong doings
Over and over again like a scratched 45.
If I died tonight, would my soul live on
To be birthed into another body
So I could breathe God's breath again
Have a chance to life live once more
If only for one more day,
But only if I die tonight.
If I died tonight, would my soul live on To be birthed into another body So I could breathe God's breath again..........wonderful feelings and expression; insightful writings

Like a person who has to migrate to another place for good, the protagonist has all kinds of thoughts splashing his mind. So many possibilities and fears lurking before him.
