Impossible To Keep... [ Inspired By Lora Colon's Have You Ever Been In Love; Mostly True]
For me, loving comes easy,
and it doesn't make me queasy...
(thank goodness) .
A winsome smile, a bedding trial,
and out comes wedding band,
but in a year or four or nine, the smile...
is gone; I release my once-loved one's hand.
But, cheer up! . Bri does not (often) weep,
'cause so far he's learned:
'Love is impossible to keep.'

An insightful poem on love. Loving comes easy to those who are naturally loving. I agree with Jez. Love is impossible to keep when it's not true.10
