Impressions Poem by Romeo Della Valle

Impressions

Rating: 4.6

The heart, which is wiser,
Needs no mind's inclination
When impressions
Must be first
To be given consideration
Before they are weighed
And valued for application,
Else, shadows of thought
Cast over an imposition,
Deeper than reason
Penetrating imagination….

A nice poem, truly the heart is in control in so many aspects.

The heart always knows best. The brain has a record for going on tangents. Very good. Liked a lot!

Trust in the heart, and the wisdom of first impressions. I agree Romeo, sometimes overthinking can cause inaction and lost opportunity for growth. Excellent write.
