In The Crescent Of Your Eyes Poem by Kewayne Wadley

In The Crescent Of Your Eyes

The sun tiptoes across your smile
Losing way to beauty's essence
From the crinkles that form around your nose
To the crows feet that cress your eyes
Forever in a dream
angel of mine
Forever in a dream
Distance seperates the seconds
Minutes ache from the touch of reality
Still your voice haunts me by the weight of your touch
Love slips away by the lukewarm bay
Sights not forgotten by the hands that caressed the breaths you took in front of me
The taste of you remains
Fruitful
As the moon turns from whole to crescent
Simply
Longing for the paradox of your touch
Forever in a dream
Am I
Forever in a dream
