In The Memory Of Shared Chocolate Boxes Poem by Ivy Christou

In The Memory Of Shared Chocolate Boxes

Rating: 5.0

I felt your smile when I panicked,
The world was running away
But you sat next to me
Holding my trembling hands.

Your compassion was my compass..

I felt surrounded by a family
When on lonely holidays
You offered me a home
And called me your dear friend.

I now consider you my sister..

I felt my heart blissfully soaking
The ink of our common memories
When laughter was dancing in the backyard
On those sunny afternoons.

All the way through you were radiating love..

I’m not truly moving away
Just moving on, following life’s flow.
Riding on cloud’s or rainbow’s back
You will always find my heart close to yours.

May you cherish our good times
Like I did when I stood a sea away
and still felt your smile..
