On the stairs by the sea, sitting down, I absorb the strength of violent winds. The waves' white foam has turned brown.' I used to feel this sitting on a smooth stone sea wall as a child on holiday, at Granity at my grandparents, the beach was but two houses away very close, the sound of the sea in all moods calm or storm roaring often first kept awake then lulled to sleep, a magical beach in childhood holidays, these timeless seamless brief moments connected to nature are among life's richest blessings, a truly beautiful inspired poem Aufie.
I like this poem very much, Aufie. It recreates the atmosphere of the sea very well. I particularly like the image of the skies giving away only a slit of their deep and faraway beauty, and the white cloudy heavens that embrace you.
This is quite breath taking in its beauty and form such lovely depictions well done for writing this delicious lyric poem 10+++++ thankzs
A delightful read, full of imaginary, nicely done. Annette
