In The Wilderness I Sit. Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

In The Wilderness I Sit.

Rating: 5.0

In the wilderness I sit
all alone
meditating on your wonders.

There is only the sky above.
The angels watch me when I pray.

Only in the aloneness
I can lift up my heart and my brain
to the Lord Almighty.

This aloneness
gives me strength.
It unites me with the Almighty God.
Let his Holy Name be praised.

Good thoughtful poem. This aloneness makes one turn inwards to connect with one's true self. At that time you are one with your God and derive strength to go on with life.

I enjoyed this poem, thought -provoking, soul affirming. This is beautiful. And though I feel alone, I am never alone, for He is with me.
