Inch By Inch (C) 7-28-2011

Inch by Inch I role by slow
Positioning myself in the world, but only with the wind I blow
Hotter than coal sprinkled with sulfur in a gas fire
Genuine source of ecstasy and still gettin you higher
More than putting two infinitys under a multiplier
The designated driver but still suffer from the ‘Liquor’ desire
Dance gracefully to the remnants of the African beats
That my DNA remembers inseparable even by slavery
An enchanted Siren that drags in anyone around but no murder
I love my current lady and Odysseus couldn’t resist her voice if he heard her
Yes, I said current as in for this moment my curse is lifted
Either a blessin from heaven or she’s abnormally gifted
Either way, I’ll cherish everyday that I have her in reach
She’ll be leavin me and dealin with that pain is nothing anyone’s able to teach
This sea we sail is everlasting, full of turmoil importunate waves
To God in heaven we try to please but for the God of this world we slave
But for the blessings he gave I’ll take it inch by inch, row by row
Positioning myself in the world, but only with the wind I blow
