Into Eternity Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Into Eternity

As teardrops fill my eyes,
I pick a tender rose,
For you my lovely Mum,
In heaven now you roam.

They say that in that place,
The angels care for you,
Where there is no more pain,
I hope those words are true.

For one day I'll be there,
To see you once again,
Please will you wait for me?
I'll hold this love till then.

Your smile will light the way,
Your arms will reach for me,
We'll walk along again,
Into eternity.
