Invasion Poem by Rose Marie Juan-austin

Invasion

Rating: 4.7

A cloud from the West
Forced its way toward the East
The wind abetted
The clouds' wicked invasion
And the sky is veiled with black.

An interesting work, that for me has more meaning, on the outside the poem makes a fascinating literal view of a storm being an invasion, a penetration of heavens tempestuous nature, and yet I see it on a metaphorical level. The invasion from the west can be America and its long arm of colonization and cultural imperialism. Of course I could be reading into this too much. Either way its a lovely poem.

Wickedness from the west; West- the death palace of rising sun! and the east is attacked by the west allurement, always! ! !

altogether, a most moving sky opera scene, its final is a death scene, all blackest How eerie! Dear Great Poetess, since I read this magical weather poem for the first time, I have got so many responses in my head, and I could not choose,

that rude wind causes that one cloud be into many clouds, you see the clouds driving eastwards, a tribute to autumnal season How coziest to be inside the house near the hearth, while looking to the dark clouds outside in the sky

Imagining these words, I am standing in front of a huge canvas 1,5 m x 2,00 m while the colours on the palette are mixing, you can see clearly where the painter was hesitating, exactly at the point of that wind, oops! the painter has morsed with so much black colour, ah the painted veil in black, can you see that too?

Nature's force. Life changes direction by some internal as well as external force and the same way the nature plays its part. Thought Provoking poem.5***
