It Is My End Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

It Is My End

Rating: 5.0

How often can I speak the untruth
When around me the time is
Playing its cruel game;
How often will I cry in the dark
When in the quagmire of
Dishonesty I lost my name;

Age has become like dim light for
Me now, threatening to go off
At any uncertain moment;
Powdered face can't give back the
Youth to play truant with love
And later falsely lament;

Darkness around me is thickening
The load star is running away
From my fading eyesight;
Upon the leaf of time I am going to
Write down my last word and
For me, it would always be night.

We tend to misinterpret three thing, s that is being positive, being negative and being real forgetting all three join hands with each other. Your poem has given the touch of the above mentioned three siblings. :)

A pleasure to read your powerful penning again, sir! Sometimes I wondered what death and darkness truly are.. maybe the end is sad and painful for those we leave behind.. Yet what expects us on the other side who knows, what if it might not be so bad? I hope none of us will find it out too soon. Wish you a long long life Tiku akp! Thank you!
