July Twenty-Seven Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

July Twenty-Seven

It was in nineteen fourteen,
That the Church Of Christ was built;
God's power and might had been
Nicely and notably felt.

The outbreak of first world war
Did not hinder the Lord's plan;
Peace and war were for Big Four,
The bird of prey snatched the man.

The establishment of the Church
Was willed by God Almighty;
Many people learned to search
The right path toward glory.

That date was quite important,
It signaled the Father's love;
It was so significant,
As mercy came from above.

One hundred six years of faith,
The flock is in conviction;
The hopeful brethren just wait
For the grace of salvation.
