Your presence so wonderful in every way,
Your smile like the sun that lights up my day,
Your voice like an angel,
From heaven above,
Your face like a flower that i look to with love,
You're my life,
You're my saviour,
When I'm feeling down,
My grandchild I adore,
Just having you around.
Like a breath of fresh air,
On a warm afternoon,
You lift up my spirits,
When you enter the room,
You're my life every moment,
Every part of my day,
I'll love you forever,
In Nan's own special way.

Yes, grandkids surely are a gift in our 'slower' years. Loved this one dearly. (and I agree with David, probably gets spoiled this time of the year - though not sure if the child is a boy or girl)

What an incredibly beautiful and loving tribute to your grandchild! Such a joy to behold a poem like this at this time of the year. Thank You, Jayne!
