Just One Life Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Just One Life

Though, long gone youth shall not return
In mind still young
In body not,
I can't forget those days i yearn,
We have one life,
It's all we've got.
So I must make the best of it
Remembering those long lost days,
Just hold onto the memories
That graced my life in many ways.

'yearn' rhymes, but doesn't sound 'right'. I'd look for 'yearn FOR'. ;)

Jayne, I struggled with some of your grammar (oh, .....you ARE Welsh! That may explain 'it') . But I did understand your poem I think and approve of your sentiment. bri : )
