Keep Faith In Me - Poem by Jefin Jo Thomas
I went out of my room,
to walk alone for some time.
I used to do the same,
whenever my mind says to do so.
I walked ‘n walked,
without knowing where to go.
But I was sure of one thing.
My feet never touched the ground.
I have studied from the physics class,
that earth attracts everything
near to it, and keeps in touch, then
am I walking in any other planet?
It won’t be, for I am feeling now,
that some one is holding me.
Then, my mind travelled through the past
and reached my catechism class.
‘God will put his angels in charge of you
to protect you wherever you go.
They will hold you up with their hands
to keep you from hurting your feet on the stones’.
Now, I can feel my angel’s voice.
“Keep faith in me. I won’t let you down”.
