Can't write words I don't know
From a heart that's so cold
Such great warmth from your heart
Had been missing...my life

Profound first line. Made me think. Thanks for posting.

It's ironic that the iconic Kerouac couldn't express in words his feelings towards his daughter. Cowboy Ron, THX so much for your very positive constructive criticism. The Kerouac Venture is all about making readers rethink Kerouac.

Nice. Enjoyed it. Actually, the entire series is so dear to me

I'm so very happy to hear that, my friend. You and some others are continuing to validate the ever-expanding series. A world of THX to all of you!

Can't write words you don't know? Why not? There are SOME people on this website who do that! : ) : ) : )

Kim, this poem is part of The Kerouac Venture which consists of Kerouac being the speaker. He's talking about not having had his daughter in his life. Regret over having made this choice.
