no moving parts help
simply straight up or straight down
or stuck on the stretch
Loved this perceptive three-liner. Top score dear poet. Wish you a happy, prosperous, eventful and joyful new year 2023 in advance!
A great philosophical poem is so aptly and meaninglyfully delineated. I appreciate the way of presentation. Thank you my dear madam.
Those born with a silver spoon ride on lifts and escalators. Thanks Mj
Great observation, Loke! I think everybody feels like there's been at least one escalator ride in life....but why does that only or always involve the downward move? Thanks so much, Loke
There are only three possibilities, either go up to the top or come down to the bottom or get stuck somewhere in between! When I read your poems, I feel getting stuck in the tangle of meanings! You are a profound philosopher!
This left me thinking, well you are right again...it just like reality! careful in every step, because if we chose wrong step, it just not stuck, we tumble down....yes we will rise again but with pain...so go ahead and clear your mind of where we are heading to....heeyyyyaahhhh (sounds like cowboy) hahahahahahaha...that part is just to joke around :)
Thanks, Soul! Ahhhhhh, the cowboy crashing to earth. Now I wonder. Is the falling or idling on the stretch worse? Thanks again, my friend.

Stuck cuz I looked down. Freezes me in place every time. But if I look up I get a crick in my neck. You know what, that LADDER OF SUCCESS is just not for me- -I think I'll just go for a good ride instead and smell the sage.
Susan, That ride could actually be the top of the ladder. Thanks so much for reading.
