Late at night,
When I was lying on my bed,
Eyes open, lights off and door closed.
Tears flowing with,
Memories of flashback and,
My heart consoling me, better is yet to happen.
Suddenly, the door flashed,
The room got enlightened and,
My eyes pretended to sleep.
A women entered my room,
I exactly cannot describe,
The warmth she gave me that night.
I was still pretending asleep,
But slightly opened my eyes,
To see the unveiled face of the lady.
She right then saw me awake,
Came close to me, rolled in her arms,
And kissed on my forehead.
Her voice sounded soo soft as velvet,
Her footsteps imprinted the colors of rainbow,
Her smile redefining the beauty of a women.
I swear! It was the best feeling ever,
Received by me before never,
And only a Mother can give it to a Daughter.
