Lamentable Joy Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Lamentable Joy

Rating: 5.0

The grief is gained through mind,
Due to pollution and passion,
Seeing this beautiful nature,
We remember past back once again.

Nature mother's love we remember,
We remember scriptures hail her.
Beauty and trust again we gain,
But dangers provoke thought.

Joy we get from nature in mind,
Joy we get from new inventions,
Development gives joy and we learn,
But weather still gains hotness.

Rain we need at time for water,
If weather diverts and brings thunder,
Due to crashing noise many get fear,
Lightening flashes and current flows.

Seeing cloud we get happiness,
If cloud breaks and pours more,
Flood comes bringing sorrow,
Mind remains in dual perception.

This joy is lamentable, we know,
Lamentable joy has provoked thought,
Mind revives faith, we need pure nature,
Positive and pure mind perceives beauty.

''Positive and pure mind perceives beauty. '' - This is so very true! With a clear mind we can enjoy life. A perceptive poem.

Nature can give us both joy and pain....! Though we long for rain, when rain is accompanied by thunderstorm or results in flood, we feel terrified! The dual face of Nature is well brought out!
