Leap
an extra day
where's the pay
an extra day
what's to say
the fate of the working
man woman child
take home nothing
at the end of the day
an extra day
arrives soon enough
maybe just to remind
of pay for all the other 365
The leap year should be used as a reminder to make EVERY day count! And to do something very special for yourself on that extra day! And thanks to Trudeau those paychecks are getting smaller and smaller!
Thank you, Richard! I think maybe that plan for the very special extra day should maybe amount to something that can/should be done only once every four years.
