Life's lonely path
Does cover
From birth
Till life's,
No more.
Do good,
Help, love
Another,
Whose pain
You've understood.
Be satisfied
For now you've done
More, than
You really should.
(1) I cite here your lines, dear Sandra: Help, love Another, Whose pain You've understood. Such sublimest advice i´ve never read in a poem. If we follow this advice wholeheartedly and truthfully, i reckon love reigns globally and there will be peace perpetually, no wars anymore. How peaceful this must be!
To leave our mark through love is the best way to go. Not all of us are capable of following this advice. I agree with Rose wholeheartedly. This is a unique poem from a great poetess.
The most wonderful advise I have ever read put in a poem. If we are guided by this beautiful thoughts of the great Poetess, how wonderful this world would be. A poem of love, kindness and thoughtfulness. So beautifully written, as always. I have to put this to my Poem List and put it by heart as my personal Mantra. I love the magnificent title of this poem. It can be a slogan, too.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
(2) ...BUT I am afraid that not everyone has this ability, my dear poet friend This great advice can only come from a great and loving heart like yours, dear. I have highest respect for the way you are involved globally. A sublimest advice for sure.
