Let Me - Poem by Spirit Sage

I don’t have the nerve to tell you how I feel
I don’t have the nerve to make these feelings real
I don’t have the heart, its been broken so many times
I don’t have the heart to speak what’s on my mind

So let me love you from afar
Let me say my prayers for you
Let me pray for your happiness
And that all your dreams come true
Let me see you smile and laugh
Let me hear about how great things are
Let me love you with all my heart
Let me love you from afar.

I wish I could tell you what you mean to me
I wish I could let these feelings take flight and be free
I wish I could just finally let them go
I wish there was a way I could let you know

So let me love you from afar
Let me say my prayers for you
Let me pray for your happiness
And that all your dreams come true
Let me see you smile and laugh
Let me hear about how great things are
Let me love you with all my heart
Let me love you from afar.

Maybe someday, I can tell you
just how precious you are
Maybe someday I can let you know
that I’ve been loving you from afar
Maybe someday I can show you
all the dreams for you in my heart
Maybe someday you will know,
maybe someday I can start

But for now, let me love you from afar
Let me say my prayers for you
Let me pray for your happiness
And that all your dreams come true
Let me see you smile and laugh
Let me hear about how great things are
Let me love you unselfishlessly
Let me love you from afar.

Cheryl your thoughts put down in such beautiful words, opens my heart. Life must take flight, your spirit is so full of joy. I will share your words. What a wonderful soul you are.
Let me pray for your happiness
