Lets Kill Fate - Poem by Ivy Christou

I am in a bus, going away
Away from you
Away from sleepless nights
I hope I can forget you for a while,
Smile and pretend that everything is alright.
I hope I can find the strength to be strong and leave my misery behind
I really don’t need this right now,
I only wanted someone to be by my side.
For me you are like an illusion,
an illusion I can love and hate
Lets kill what keeps us apart,
lets kill fate…

this is the first i've read of you, Ivy, & you have a style all your own. nobody can
touch it. this was so wise to link a bus ride to the trails of fate, illusions! excellent.
    keep writing, babe. Sus.

    It was so lively
    As if I was
    Sitting beside you
    In the bus
    And you were silent
    So silent I could
    Read you.

    Love for the beautiful poem.
