Life...A Song - Poem by abhilasha bhatt

Life is nothing
But a song
song of sorrows
song of happiness
Song of love
Song of hate
Song of truth
Song of lie
Song of rain
Song of bird
Song of river
Song of ocean
Song of crowd
Song of silence
Song of headache
Song of peace
Song of depression
Song of regression
Song of sad
Song of joy
Song of forest
Song of urban
Song of leaves
Song of flowers
Song of himalaya
Song of ganga
Song of india…..

Great expressions. Life is a song that we all add our voices to. Its duality is a pitch of highs and lows that gives it all the meaning. (Report) Reply

What a beautiful poem, a song and an anthem of life. Nature- inner and scenic - is part of a divine game plan. Thanks for sharing this lovely poem. (Report) Reply

Life is indeed a song. Sometimes the notes are low, sometimes high but flow is always there. I like it that you thought of life as a song. Its a lovely idea. (Report) Reply

Once again, this poem is filled with the beauty of imagery, but it gets lost in the repetition of the words, song of. This would definitely be a great song in itself with a definite rhythm of it's own, just needing to be rearranged without the use of song of. When writing my poetry I constantly use a thesaurus to look up words with like meanings, it helps to increase my vocabulary. Also use it when doing crossword puzzles instead of a dictionary. Hope I'm not overwhelming you, I just really like what you write and look forward to reading more of your poetry in the future. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn (Report) Reply

Just read this poem of yours. Life is a beautiful song and a beautiful poem, it's true!
The poem would have looked better, if it would be trimmed a bit shorter.
