Light That Shines So Bright Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Light That Shines So Bright

Rating: 5.0

L-ight that shines so bright
I-s coming from God's love;
S-tars sparkle at night,
S-un is burning in the sky
A-bove.

F-rom the heaven up high,
E-arly morn has broken;
D-ark starts to disappear,
E-vening chill doesn't happen.
R-ays beneath the clouds
E-rase the long lonely night;
S-hadows have passed by,
O-usted by the shining light.

D-ay twelve in joyful June
A-llows my rhyme to glow;
N-ew promise brings hope,
T-ime to leave the sorrow.
E-very word that's written endorses pure delight;
S-oothing lines open the mind, light that shines so bright.
