There was once a poet in PoemHunter,
Wary of Covid, he lay in a bunker!
He called himself Bri,
Wrote witty poetry,
But Covid made him go into a slumber!

It is a lovely limerick about Bri Edwards' disappearance from PH Site.I had not noticed it earlier. Bri has posted an answer to this limerick Really enjoyed reading both the poems.
Thanks, @Bharati for reading this poem and leaving a kind comment. Many thanks for drawing my attention to Kim Barney's poem that throws a riddle to the readers to discover the poet, that's me!
Khairul, This is NOT the first time someone has thought 'Bri' rhymes with 'free'. Actually, it is short for 'Brian', my real first name, and rhymes with 'bye' or 'bow tie' ! ! ! ! Was I totally absent so long? Maybe. bri ;)
Thanks, Brian, for reapperaing here after a long gap, which made many of your friends 'sorely miss' you (like poetess Valsa George) . I always love your humour which you so generously and astutely deliver.
I thought for sure Bri was gone. I even posted a poem about it. I think it was called Rest in Peace, Bri Edwards. It was great when he came back!
Thank you, @Kim Barney, for sharing your thoughts here. Glad to see Brian back and wish both of you good luck and good days ahead. Also, thanks for writing a poem taking some lines and titles from mine, and throwing a riddle to the readers.
Sometimes we are so much frustrated that we do not remain a poet. I, too, remained missing from, now calm and patient and back to PH once again.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
The truth about Bri? He may not as oft read and work on PH as he wished to do by his life-friend (partner) . An excellent Limerick is presented here, not by Bri, but by Khairul Sir! I have enjoyed very much this amusing Limerick, a 10+++!
