Limerick R52 (Farce On Mars) Poem by Rajnish Manga

Limerick R52 (Farce On Mars)

Rating: 4.5

Nasa has found signs of water on Mars;
But sceptics say it's no less than a farce;
This was never our goal,
All we wanted is petrol,
And to have its reserves to run our cars.

True to reality....how does it matter if there is water on mars or not....we need petrol now...a poem telling the real situation's need in a satirical way...I am yet to post one of my finished poems with similar meaning....a lovely limerick

True, we have already messed up our planet by using so much fossil fuel and constantly neglecting the need to find alternatives that we may very well try to destroy another planet or start a war about it! A really wonderful limerick Mr Manga. Thanks for sharing this.

Going by the present day horse-race ideology of among leading countries, this is bound to happen. This you have nicely summed up as under. Thanks a lot, Dear Friend: we may very well try to destroy another planet or start a war about it!
