Limerick-The Great Hunter-1 Poem by Loke Kok yee

Limerick-The Great Hunter-1

Rating: 5.0

There was this great hunter out to shoot a tiger
Stealthy he followed the faint tracks in the jungle
The wind was blowing just right
He had the tiger in his gun sight
Alas he forgot to put a cartridge in the chamber

What a great lesson: one must equipt oneself before facing an adversary.

Thus the would be victor turned out to be victim! An inadvertent omission can prove very fatal sometimes...! A limerick which teaches a great lesson!
