(limerick) The Unreasonable Husband
Someone's taken my favourite chair
'Twasn't really that shabby, I swear
Coulda had it re-covered
(consternation is smothered)
I hope it's found shelter elsewhere
My dog consumed my favorite chair The one with pinstripes and lots of flair He nibbled, cleaved and then pulled Til the fabric came unspooled Now nobody will ever sit there! (True Story) (I can't write limericks like you, but sometimes it's fun to try!)
