Little Bird. Let's Give It Freedom. - Poem by Albert Martin

Do not try to cheat me little bird
I won’t believe your song is any nonsense heard
I can see that what you really crave is being so high
Not being captured by anyone’s eye
If it is so do not wait; don’t be late
Back to thine call; just rise above
Spread both wings without a cry
And get deep into the deep
Of the blue of the sky where you fly

Thank you very much Kelly and Tony for your kind comments. I'm always glad when one of my poems is commented, because of this I feel bad with myself when I am late to answer back. I must confess that usually I don't always expect after writing a poem that it is going to be commented. When I began submitting my ideas in this site, I used to hope for comments, and they were written, but then, due to my poor english and my shame and fear for not doing it bad, I retained the answer, worse even than being insecure of writing anything that, in case of misunderstanding, could be repaired later.

I promise you both I'll be more aware to incoming mail. In truth I think it's pleasent to share missages and comments through a site that's about something we all love.

    Thank you once more,
