Live It. Poem by Gary Hembree

Live It.

Rating: 5.0

Clocks are ticking and trees are growing.
The dogs are barking and the rabbits are f***ing.
The people are cheering while watching the playoffs.
While kids across the world are dying.
The rich are buying islands.
While the poor are striving.
This is life.
Some people use religion to hide from it.
Some people use drugs to deal with it.
Some people try to make change to it.
While others turn away from it.
This is life.
So live it.

The poet highlighted ongoing uneven and injustice with his brilliant thoughts and words. I read it. His poem inspired me also. I graded the poem with the highest number,10. This poem got my deep attention. And we don't have to live like that. Things and fashions need to be changed. Gladly, North Korea banned expensive weddings and funerals. I like it. NORTH KOREA BANNED WEDDINGS AND FUNERALS. THE WEST IS TRYING TO CREATE SENTIMENT AGAINST NORTH KOREA. According to information provided by Reuters and AP news, North Korea banned wedding and funeral. Law makers in North Korea found that such are very expensive for poor people.what consequently make aftermath livelihoods of married couple and or of living family members. I, Chan Mongol also found that in old days, even religious people and Prophets didn't do weddings and funerals in ways we are conducting under the influence of becoming famous! I don't think such can guarantee well for leftover living family lives and virtues for deceased people! Think about Lady Di! She had the best wedding and most expensive one in the world. Her wedding was most luxurious in the present world! But for what? That didn't help to keep her married with Prince Charles! In her divorced life she lived like an ordinary woman. Likewise, there are tons of examples Nobody knows, where and how people will die! Think about Osama Bin Laden! He even didn't have a funeral even though his family is one of the wealthiest. Think about those dead people whose bodies never found. Funerals became a fashion and an odd culture. After someone dies, what is left for him except prayers from your souls! I have my solidarity with the newly adopted policy of North Korea. I don't know about you! But hopefully, poor and ideological folks should think in favor of such! And I am sure that they will have similar sentiment like mine.
