Lone Voyager Poem by Sandra Feldman

Lone Voyager

Rating: 5.0

I have never been able to share
All my love, feelings and cares
With someone special,
Who came along,
Then, no longer alone,
In a cold, disenchanted world
Where more hate than love,
Is so sadly served.

In me,
Locked in perpetuity,
Feelings that have no name,
But that are feelings
Just the same,
That have been cried to the Seas
To the white peaked waves, with ease
But never to the right one,
Who might have understood
The burden of the Lone Voyager,
Going thru life alone,
As illusions kept melting,
Under the burning Sun.

Sometimes we share love and care and sometimes we do not. But silently love can be felt continuously in family, life and nature. Under the burning sun illusion definitely melts more. An amazing poem is very well penned...10
