Lonely Night In Berlin Poem by Norah Tunney

Lonely Night In Berlin

Rating: 5.0

Lonely Night in Berlin

Those eyes that shone so bright
so full of light,
are they the same vacant eyes
that look away from me tonight?
we lie in separate beds
in this cheap motel,
a gulf between us
as vast as the Pacific Ocean,
how could something
so beautiful
be so diminished?
is it really finished?
Oh God! !
take me away
from this lonely place,
take me home
to the solitude and space,
my heart is broken
its trust decreases,
and it will take a long time
to pick up the pieces.

It's a lot easier to be in solitude than relationship sometimes Tony Although relationship is a great teacher
