Look In The Mirror Poem by Charles M Moore

Look In The Mirror

Rating: 4.7

If you looked in the mirror
what would you see
a face full of anger and hypocrisy
would you study the eyes
with their bridge to the soul
and say there's a person
whose honesty shows
would the lines tell some story
of trouble you knew
and how you had struggled
to finally pull through
would the features combined
say there's someone who's kind
with benevolent heart
for the rest of mankind.

You can fool alot of people, but you can't fool the man in the mirror. Excellent write, Charlie, and a 10 from me! Linda

Charles, a brilliant write! Yes, the mirror, figuratively speaking, shows us for who we are. Brian

Looking in the mirror is when we really see ourselves. I could never look in the mirror again unless I give this fine poem of yours a ten! Well done Charles! !

Looking at the true person. I wonder if some could or would see the inner person or look at the vainty of their own reflection. Great insight Charles Patricia
