Lost - Poem by Jocellyn Smith

I am so lost
I feel as cold as frost
I want to help,
But I don’t know what to do
I tried to get through,
But no such luck
I was dumbstruck
It was her birthday,
A small gift and a note
To show that I care
Was all it took to get through
I felt great
I felt like I could float
To know that a small gesture
Changed someone else’s life
