Love And Heroin Poem by Ana Podarevska

Love And Heroin

Rating: 5.0

I'm blue against your skin
I'm dead against your eyes.
You can't believe in yourself when you're believing my lies.
My knife in disguise, your life in demise.
Is it such a surprise?
I can't help but break you when you stand there so fragile.
Wrap our love in tinfoil, light one end and watch the smoke curl.
Don't let it escape, it's magic.
It'll smother your heart if you just open your mouth.
The pain will be gone, I promise.
Let the dragon curl in your veins,
He'll wash away all of my stains,
I promise.
You don't have to be hurt anymore,
You just have to escape the world's lie.
We'll run away, the dragon in our veins,
Nothing will come between you and I.

Ana, you write well but your disappoinment and hate is distressing. There must be a light at the end of your dark tunnel? Best wishes...
