Love At First Sight - Poem by Tanzila Rehmat
I saw you and I felt you at once
The perfume your fragrance that essence
Stolen kiss I made to your name
How could I leave when you divinely came!
I saw you and thought if you would give me your love
I wondered if I was for you perfectly good enough
Stolden kiss I made to your eyes
I talked silently; truly without lies!
I saw you and my heart blossomed up above the high
I couldn't catch my breath just stroke a sigh
Stolen kiss I made to your heart
Wondered how should I approach and start!
I saw you and my feelings got their wings
I danced to the rhythm as the glass tings
Stolen kiss I made to your soul
Imagined you as my destiny as my utmost dole!
I saw you that day and I love you to this day
I promise you my love will never have a bad say
Now like the cheerful cloud I sing so bright
For you, my love at first sight!
