Flash upon my vision
Like a rainbow after a storm
Surprise me with an avowal
That ends the unbending silence
Of cautious, customary lips
For love needs a tongue
As much as man does
A tongue that is free
And dancing in fields of abundant harvest
A tongue happy like a bird gliding home
In the dusky sky
Love needs a tongue
To keep its flame burning
So come out full like a midday sun
And pour out your heart
Before love is drowned
In an ocean of wordlessness.
It is so important to communicate. Perfectly said dear Poetess Nosheen! Words are magical and can create a whole new vision of life and its beauty.
I totally agree, silence kills when it comes to expressing the love explicitly. Full *****
It feels so good to return to reading your poetry. Nosheen, I've always enjoyed your heart-felt poems.
It is absolutely necessary for love (too) to find a tongue to utter its unsaid words. Exquisitely worded and skilfully crafted. As all poems of Nosheen. Loved reading. Top score.
Love needs tongue, eloquent vocabulary and expression that can completely change a relationship to a beautiful understanding. Thanks you for this marvellous poem....10

Exactly, Love NEEDS a tongue, dear, otherwise it dies slowly away, a tongue to refresh the true feelings of Love. This is a sterling poem, dear Nosheen, I love this poem gorgeously.5 Stars FULL Score and myriad more
