Love Saved Me - Poem by Sam Norris
I lay there with the since of death in the air
I saw a mirror looking at myself wondering
how I got here
.Saw Satan’s fingerprints
On the glass I knew he was here. I saw the
dagger in the air as the demon lifted it but
I didn’t care I was ready to take it.
it into my heart blood was everywhere. He left
with a smile he finished his trick.
As I laid there
dieing next to a pool of blood I could not breathe
I thought of her wishing that she was here, an angle
With black wings came upon me like another
visitor from hell.
Was she here to save me or finish me?
Without a word she laid next to me.
The angle gave me
a kiss that repaired my heart from its state and toke away
my pain without any shame.
I lifted her hood that covered
the angles face. It was her my love I could not
wait I grabbed her wings and we flew away.
I will never forget that day when Satan almost slayed
Me and that my love saved me…
