Macabre Game

Rating: 5.0

Heavenly trees are so barren now
Skeletons under the midnight sky
Devil playing macabre game
Evil in the streets has begun

Chilling and real....this could be describing parts of downtown Vancouver. Absolutely brilliant verse, Richard.

An intense poem that bares the truth. Words like devil, evil and skeletons give the poem a chilling feel.

And that's exactly the feeling that I wanted to convey in these chilling times! Geeta, thank you for reinforcing that!

CCR, one of mine all-time favourite bands. They were the band that my highschool rebels (myself included) provided the impetus for our passive rebellion. We weren't exactly a terror. But we made the principal and VP earn their money!
