Mary do you know, you gave birth to a comforter,
Who baked our bread with cheese n butter,
Placed it on our table without a waiter,
Not asking for collateral or trade by barter.
Do You Know,
Do you know, your Male made us famous,
Without being wayward and pompous,
Striving through the path of righteousness without hiccups,
Wrote our names on d successful billboards,
Painted our vision without makeups,
And ushered us into d world with the gospel backup.
Do you know?
Mary do you know
Your Gentleman is gentle in Soul,
Brilliant in Being,
Kind at Heart,
Do you know?
Do you know, your Son never left us abandoned,
Made our sun shine bright even when the day doesn't seem perfect,
He re-wrote our chronicles with sticks of miracles
and placed our feet on a smooth pinnacle,
Do you know?
Mary do you know?
Your Swain took away our pain
Gave us more gain
Made us retain what we never bargained
Prepared our table without a cuisine
And provide different liquid sauces with abundant lumps and grains.
Do you know?
I guess you know,
You gave birth to a Sir,
Who gave me the inspiration to write this,
To touch heart, lives and minds.
