Materialized To Market Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Materialized To Market

We all have our beliefs.
Ancestral rituals.
And cultural identities.
Followed faithfully with them to keep.
If this was known and shown respectfully,
Why is it those who pledge allegiance...
To capitalism
With it done to feel entitled to it.
But can not seem to feel entitled,
To accept a diversity...
A capitalistic society,
Would not exist.
If our collective differentness,
Had not materialized to market this.
Done to benefit,
The wants and wishes...
Of our needs to worship them perceived.
