Mattu Beach Poem by Varsha M

Mattu Beach

Rating: 5.0

Dwelling in delight
In the lap of serene tide
Far far away from the crowd.

Donned in the cloak white
Shimmering in pristine hide
Mattu calls you for a ride.

Through the backwaters and sea sight
Seasoned with palm tree's hospitality feed
Mesmerizing your soul like a new breed.

Seeking solace even in times of depart
Sprinkling desire to enter the sunset parade
As it's anklet's melody grace our flexed state.

Holding us until it pulls the blanket of night
Enlightening from within like a magical heed
Under the eloquent bioluminescence deed.

Enfolding mysteries we know not yet
Under the wings of nature untouched
Harbouring life that is not parched.

For the beauty of the beholder caught
The 'mattu gulla' in the Mattu hamlet
Attracting foodie across the planet.

Life is serene in its indigenous taste
Tip-toe like a gentle sailor on patrol
Camouflaging the nature it's enrolled.

Missing mesmerizing memories brought
I long to be in the lap of the Mattu beach
Singing the song of treat we want to switch.

A magnificent poem well expressed. Yes, under the wings of nature, we can feel the wonders of existence.
