May I Know Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

May I Know

Rating: 5.0

Will you greet me when I arrived?
Are you waiting?
Just to hold you once more is all I want
I miss you
My heart is continuing to break
And yr absence is too much to bear
As I know you're in heaven
But I want to love you again
Walking alone I feel like a leper
No one wants to hear my plea
So, I suffer in silence
I try to smile but the memories
Of that day flashback
And I feel the constant rain
Heading inside my mind

The death of a loved one is so hard to bear. Your beautiful, sad poem says it all.

Death always leaves a great void in life. But our wonderful memories and the hope that we could meet them again someday tame the emptiness we always have. A very touching and poignant poem so beautifully expressed.
