Memories On The Shore Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Memories On The Shore

Rating: 5.0

Far from the horizon,
Along the sandy shore,
Memories of those summer's,
A life i lived before.

Shells and seaweed scattered,
Washed up to that place,
If only you were here with me,
To see your happy face.

I sense you're here around me,
In every seagulls cry,
The waves are flowing inwards,
Beneath the bright blue sky.

Those days are gone forever,
Those memories are here,
I walk along through morning breeze,
Just knowing you are near.
