Mentor Great.. Poem by Varsha M

Mentor Great..

Rating: 4.7

Shrill cry of baby
Might irrite as you go sleepy
But the heart of mother
Pulls her out of bed to feed.

Like a free bird in open
Little cheeks roam about
Unaware of impending danger of eagle
While mother hen gather under her wing.

Calfs and pups quiet independent
Strengthens minutes after birth
Still mother cow and bitch care
All the time, the grow and mature.

Even though tired and exhausted she be
Food is always laid on time to our need
Laundary cleared on time, to dress afresh
Never missing even the slightest gist.

How do you manage all O mother!
Teach me you covert virtue greater.

Mentor Great..

Marvelous poem appreciating a mother's love for her offspring. This holds true for animals as well as human-beings.Nothing else can replace a mother's love and care. Thanks, Varsha ji. .

True true. How they manage Gods knows. And them some besides home chores are professional women balancing work and home. I remember when i was young when i had a nightmare and couldnt sleep would wake up and sing me a lullaby while dad was fast asleep. To all mothers you are " My nice nice mummy" . Keep waking up to comfort your sons, recite them a poem or whatever. Thanks for sharing
